Biography

I received the M.Sc. degree in Electronics from Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2003. I was awarded the Ph.D. degree in technical sciences in the field of computer science by the Faculty of Computer Science and Management at the same university in 2009. In 2021, I obtained the habilitation degree in engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of technical computer science and telecommunications from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. I am currently employed as a university professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

I am the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, including the monograph Application of Signal Processing in Streaming Data Fusion, which was distinguished at the 14th Academic and Scientific Book Fair Academia and awarded the Professor Zdzisław Pawlak Prize for an Outstanding Monograph in Computer Science by the Committee on Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences. My habilitation thesis was also recognized with a promotional award in the 26th Siemens Competition. Since 2025, I have been a member of the Polish Section of IEEE (Signal Processing Society).

I also actively collaborate with a number of leading scientific journals as a reviewer. These include Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, Neurocomputing, ISA Transactions, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Magazine, IEEE Access, Results in Engineering, Computers in Biology and Medicine, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Applied Intelligence, Computers & Electrical Engineering, Journal of Neuroscience Methods, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. In 2019, I received the Outstanding Reviewer award from IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
